Ken, where's our history page?

What I know: The company started by Wilbur Appel Sr. as a fuel oil company. Our office on Range Line Road was originally a service station, part of the company. During the days of oil heat, Appel Oil Corp. had 1,400 oil customers scattered around northern Marion County & Hamilton County. They also delivered oils to various service stations around the area. After Ken graduated from Purdue, he joined the family business and soon started the heating & air conditioning company.

In the early days of the heating company, the technicians spent their winters keeping heat on and their summers cleaning oil burners and adding cooling to homes where the owners were tired of sweating all summer. In later years, they did insulation work as well.

In 1997, the oil company closed due to lack of demand. The heating & air conditioning company is growing faster than ever!
